 New Works at North Coast Rep supports the development of new plays and musicals, which we feel is vital to the continued survival and growth of the theatre. It is a year-round program that discovers, develops, and presents new work, fostering an environment for their creators to flourish and providing the opportunity for standout voices to introduce work that sheds illumination and insight into the human condition.
New Works Submission Information
North Coast Rep accepts new scripts for our New Works development program. Please see guidelines below:
· Please understand the parameters of our theatre. We are a 194 seat small professional theatre. We have very little fly or wing space. Understand the technical parameters of our theatre before sending us your play. Read our mission statement.
· Send us full length scripts only.
· Include a synopsis and cast breakdown.
· We only accept scripts with seven or fewer characters. Please do not send us one-person shows.
· Make sure your script is properly bound.
Please submit via U.S. mail. Include all proper contact information including e-mail. Please DO NOT include return postage. We will contact you via e-mail between 4-6 months.
