The Theatre School at North Coast Rep is a place where imagination is the greatest tool; a place to explore and discover the magic that lives inside each of us.
Students experience the power of their individual creativity through classes, then work collaboratively to create the beauty and complexity of live theatrical productions. During the summer months the theatre school also has a great Summer FunCamp where students are able to spend three weeks exploring, developing and creating
Audiences venture into new worlds mapped out by a playwright, then brought to life by an ensemble of actors, directors, and designers.
Each year The Theatre School @ North Coast Rep teams with communities throughout San Diego County to provide arts and education outreach programs to children and teens of all backgrounds and socioeconomic levels
We believe the arts are essential to our society and therefore an essential part of education. Theatre plays a vital role in our overall growth as human beings; building character and aiding in the continuing search for knowledge and understanding of the ever-changing world we live in.
